Iain Duncan Smith jokingly intervened to put an end to a squabble between Piers Morgan and co-host Susanna Reid after Mr Morgan took a dig at his colleague. While discussing the performance of the Tory leadership contest candidates during the televised debate held on Tuesday evening, IDS pointed out the nominees had mostly "rowed across the table and Ms Reid noted "people talking over each other is never appealing." Mr Morgan laughed off at his co-host's comment before delivering a stinging jibe at her: "No, and I wish you’d stop doing it."
