The 25th official James Bond movie is currently shooting, marking 57 years of the franchise. Over that time there have been six official actors to have played 007. They are in chronological order: Sir Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Sir Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. And now a new UK poll of 2000 British adults, conducted by My Lotto 24, has revealed the nation’s favourite.
The UK’s favourite Bond is Connery with 38% of the vote, followed by Craig on 26.6%.
A drop further down and its Moore in third place at 17.6% and Brosnan on 12.3%.
The bottom two, Dalton and Lazenby, only achieved 2.9% and 2.6% – but that’s hardly surprising seeing as they made only three Bond movies between them.
