Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, 36, is undergoing hair transplant surgery again following his first procedure in 2016. The Tyrone Dobbs actor spoke out about his decision in a Q&A with fans earlier this year. Alan explained: "Since I had my first a few years ago I've spoken with so many men who have confidence issues because of their hair. “Maybe this will let some of them know they have options and people have it done all the time."
He concluded: "It's not something to be ashamed of."
The soap star also told another fan why he was getting the second surgery.
He revealed: "I had one procedure at the front and now having one at the back."
Alan received the hair loss treatment at the Farjo Hair Institute in Manchester.
The company shared a snap of the ITV favourite sitting in a hospital gown during the treatment in view of their 948 followers.
They captioned the photo: “Anyone recognise our recent hair transplant patient?"
