Spain holiday horror as boy dies after falling in pool (Image: diariosur.es)
The four-year-old was on holiday with his family in La Vinuela, a small village in La Axarquia region a 50-minute drive north-east of Malaga on the Costa del Sol. Local police were the first to reach the property after receiving a 999 call. Paramedics were also dispatched along with an air ambulance but there was nothing they could do to save the youngster’s life and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
