Angela Scanlon and Michael Ball welcomed cast members from the latest production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat on to this evening’s instalment of The One Show.
Sheridan Smith, Jason Donovan and Jac Yarrow were on the sofa tonight discussing their upcoming show but talk soon turned to Jason’s stint on Neighbours.
After revealing his daughter has just joined the Australian soap Angela asked him if would be willing to return.
“I think I would go back if there was group of us that went back,” Jason confessed, before Michael jumped in and asked: “Are you still technically married to Charlene?”
Jason continued: “I think we still live in Brisbane and I think the last time I was on this show I met as a character my daughter in fact who was playing Scott and Charlene’s daughter.”
Praising the show, he added: “Look, what an incredible institution, Neighbours has been a wonderful launching pad for many careers.
“Not just actors, but producers, people that work behind the camera, operators, directors, the whole lot. I’m really proud of that legacy.”
