Ms Rigby said it was odd Boris Johnson only received three of eliminated candidate Sajid Javid’s votes in the fifth voting round. Boris Johnson received 160 votes, Jeremy Hunt 77 and Michael Gove 75, resulting in a final between Mr Johnson and Mr Hunt. After the result, Ms Rigby questioned Dominic Raab and said: “One other thing, bit curious Boris Johnson only put on three votes.
“Between vote four and five only three Sajid voters went to Boris Johnson, seems a bit curious to me.
“Do you think there was any vote lending?”
Mr Raab replied: “I doubt it.
“I think MPs have steadily backed Boris as each round has gone on, he has built on his support.
“He has got over half of the total number of MPs supporting him, double his next rival in this campaign.
