Season five of Outlander will test no one more than Brianna (played by Sophie Skelton) who had a very traumatic season four.
In the Starz series, Brianna was raped by villain Stephen Bonnet (played by Ed Speelers) and it coincided with a split with husband Roger Mackenzie (Richard Rankin).
It led to a huge confusion as dad Jamie (Sam Heughan) believed it was Roger who had raped her and Jamie attacked him and banished him.
The confusion was caused by the girl looking after Brianna called Lizzie Wemyss (Caitlin O’Ryan) who got the two men mixed up.

Then, she discovered she was pregnant and the father’s identity was left ambiguous between rapist Stephen and husband Roger.
Season five will explore Brianna’s capabilities in motherhood and also attempt to repair Jamie and Brianna’s relationship.
Sophie revealed who is to blame for the relationship deteriorating and how it stands currently at a Starz event in California, reported by Parade.com.
She told the audience: “One thing that I always thought was that it was almost easy for Brianna to blame Jamie. For me, the only blame on Jamie was that he’d almost taken away her right to revenge. He told her not to get revenge, and then he beat up this man, and then told Brianna that this man was dead. So, I think that’s the betrayal.
“Brianna knows that it was all a misunderstanding, and there’s this one bit in book five that I love, when Bree says to Roger, ‘If it was anyone’s fault, it’s Lizzie’s and no one blames her,’ and I think it’s true.
“Lizzie’s the one who made the mistake, but no one blames her. It was a mistake and I think Bree’s very much forgiven Jamie. I think
