Former Love Island star Kaz Crossley, 24, recently underwent laser eye surgery after suffering with poor eyesight since primary school. The make-up artist said before the surgery with Optical Express, her lack of clear vision prompted her to wear contact lenses every day, which made her eyes dry up in the villa. Revealing all to Express.co.uk, she said: “It was affecting me quite a lot. There were times I’d forget them [contact lenses].” Away from the cameras, Kaz also sometimes wore glasses for basic tasks such as watching television and driving.

She added: “No one really knows I wear glasses but it was a really big struggle wearing contact lenses everyday.
“People who wear glasses will understand wearing contact lenses is a massive chore. You need your eyes to rest as well.”
Speaking of how she dealt with the issue in the villa, she added: “Obviously you have to wear sunglasses.
“I don’t have prescription sunglasses so I couldn’t wear glasses and had to wear contact lenses every single day.
“When we got ready for nights out and stuff, and putting on eyelashes, you can’t wear glasses with eyelashes.
