William and Kate’s April 2011 wedding was the most anticipated Royal Wedding in 30 years. Thousands lined the streets and a third of the world’s population watched it on television, according to the documentary ‘Prince William at Thirty’, uploaded to Youtube in June 2012. According to royal experts however, there were parts of the wedding in which the second-in-line to the throne and his beloved broke away from royal protocol.
One way was their famous kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace – and the fact William went back for a second peck.
Royal reporter Victoria Murphy told the documentary: “Everyone kind of went ‘Oh, that was it?’
“So later he went back in for another one, so we got two kisses on that day.”
TV Presenter Phillip Schofield added “Now we’ve all had a fit of a fumbling kiss here and there.
