Halfway (played by Tony Clay) is struggling to come to terms with his sexuality ahead of his wedding to Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and in upcoming scenes he may have to face up to some demons from his past.
Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) is the only person who knows about Halfway’s internal battle and the pair shared an intimate moment in the park.
However in upcoming scenes he will have to deal with the arrival of his dad Jonno (Richard Graham) who he has a complicated relationship with.
Callum and brother Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) initially seem pleased to see their dad after he makes a surprise visit to the Square.
But it soon becomes clear the pair have a troubled past with their father as Jonno makes it obvious that he’ll be sticking around for a while.
Jonno may know something about his son that Halfway doesn’t want Whitney to find out ahead of their wedding.
Halfway isn’t the only secretive one of the Highway siblings as Stuart may have been involved with some dodgy deals with Jonno that he’d like to keep quiet.
Will the pair try and convince their father to leave Walford before their complicated family past is exposed?
