Mr Johnson was under the spotlight last week after it emerged that police had been called to the house he shares with his girlfriend, Carrie Symonds' in Camberwell, south London. The former Foreign Secretary dodged questions over the bust-up at last week’s Tory hustings but The Sun has reported that the latest argument was the fourth in six weeks. Moreover, the paper also reported that a source close to the pair admitted they almost ended their relationship at the beginning of the month.
The source told The Sun: “This was by no means the first explosive row they’ve had.
“Carrie and Boris have an incredibly volatile relationship.
“The past six weeks have been especially testing for them both.
“But they very nearly split up at the start of the month.”
