Trump’s warning came after the President admitted he called off a strike on the country at the last minute after being informed of the potential casualties. Speaking to NBC News on Sunday, Trump insisted he does not want a war with the Islamic Republic but that if war did occur, there would “obliteration like you’ve never seen before”. Trump said: “I'm not looking for war and if there is, it'll be obliteration like you've never seen before.
“But I'm not looking to do that, but you can't have a nuclear weapon.”
Following his bold threat to Tehran, Trump did insist he would prefer to negotiate with the country.
Trump added: “You want to talk, good.
“Otherwise you're gonna have a bad economy for the next three years.”
