Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage argued that Leave supporters remained determined to see Brexit fulfilled and would vote for a no deal option given the opportunity in a second referendum. Although a second referendum has been seemingly off the cards for a while during the Brexit process Mr Farage noted that after looking at Opinium’s latest Brexit poll, he believes it is clear Leave would win again.

Mr Farage said: “I wonder, what is the mood on Brexit in the country as that is worth thinking about.

“Professor John Curtice, of Strathclyde University, I think acknowledged to be the most independent and perhaps best commentator on politics in the country today.

“He made an observation which is that the Leave vote has hardened recently.

“That is confirmed with a piece of polling out overnight from Opinium.

“They say when given the binary option namely, if no deal is going to be agreed and if no new treaty is going to be agreed and remember it has been rejected three times already.
