Outraged royal supporters said the BBC Two show was “nothing but a disgusting and vile attack” on the mother-of-one after its feature called ‘Meghan Markle’s Royal Sparkle’ aired on Sunday night. The taxpayer-funded corporation was accused of racism after its show portrayed Meghan Markle as a foul-mouthed and aggressive puppet living in a caravan who even threatened to attack her sister-in-law Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge.

One Twitter user posted: “This is racist. Full stop. I will not support BBC again. It gross.”

A disgusted royal fan said: “I sent mine. Do not hesitate to send your complaints to @BBC.
