Today’s A Place in the Sun saw Laura Hamilton travel to Southern Spain to try and find the dream home for Susan and her partner Ilse.
Unfortunately Ilse couldn’t join Susan on the search so best friend Julie went along with her to help look for the perfect place for them to live.
But it seems they weren’t destined to have much look as Susan found faults with almost every property leaving Laura despairing over her search.
From properties having too many steps to house situated too close to their neighbours, there was no satisfying Susan and Ilse.
At the final property, Susan admitted she would buy the home in an instant but knew Ilse wouldn’t like it.
“You know so soon again?” Laura asked rather taken aback. “Why you saying that?”
“I haven’t got that feeling about it but I know she wouldn’t like it,” Susan explained. “She would say no straight away.”
She continued: “She wants views not with our neighbours, it’s too close. If it was me, I would be buying this property.”
Julie added Ilse would prefer to be situated on the edge of the town instead of in the centre surrounded
