For the crew member, it wasn’t the strict uniform regulations or being on their feet a lot. Instead, the part the attendant liked the least about the occupation was being tired.

The ex cabin crew member spoke to stuff.co.nz about her feelings on the negatives of the career.
“Having the world as your office also means sleep deprivation, especially on long haul sectors,” the flight attendant said.
“Constantly being tired and working in different time zones can take a toll on the body.”
Cabin crew being tired can impact flights - with some being seriously disrupted due to attendants’ inability to work.
In August 2018, easyJet cancelled a flight because its crew were "too tired,” affecting the holiday plans of nearly 150 people.
Passenger Cornelia Dalipe said she was shocked to hear that the cancellation was because “staff were too tired to go on.”
