Piers Morgan speaks out on co-star: ‘It’s all an act’ #GMB

Piers Morgan, 54, had a dig at Andi Peters, 48, on the show this morning when the latter joined the team to front the competition segment. After the lighthearted moment, during which Piers poked fun at Andi’s cheerful personality, however, viewers took to Twitter to criticise the Good Morning Britain. One in particular caught his attention when they tweeted: “I love @piersmorgan but even a tad too far for me @GMB. His comment about Andi Peters.

“You are hilarious and I do love you BUT @piersmorgan you are sometimes such a wrong’un(sic). 

“It’s actually lovely to see Andi Peters so jolly in the morning, happy people are hard to come by!” they insisted. 

Piers was quick to hit back, retweeting the post in view of his 6.6 million followers. 

“It’s all an act,” he quipped. “He’s the most miserable man in showbiz off camera.” 

Other fans also used Twitter to air their grievances about Piers behaviour towards Andi, however. 

“Lol oh come on Piers is much more annoying than Andi,”(sic) one said, while another added: “Don’t be so mean to Andi Peters!
