Former Countdown star Carol Vorderman, 58, had early taken to Twitter to inform her 404,000 followers she would be appearing on The One Show with her 27-year-old daughter Katie for the first time. In view of her fans, she wrote: “Our countdown to the first time my girl Katie and I are on the telly together... @BBCTheOneShow. “Tonight and tomorrow.... Been filming at @NASA #STEM #SPACEGEEKS.” One Twitter user responded to Carol’s tweet, cheekily asking for Katie’s number.

“Could you DM that to me please? Ta, a chancer.”
Carol seemingly saw the funny side to the Twitter user’s request, writing: “Lol,”(sic) with a crying with laughter emoji.
The duo appeared on the BBC evening show to discuss Apollo 11, as part of their involvement with NASA.
During the segment, Carol said her interest in space stemmed from her daughter, who is finishing a Ph.D in Nanotechnology at Cambridge University.
She told viewers: “My passion for space has based down to my daughter Katie.”
