The Chase star Paul Sinha, 49, was asked if he and his co-stars Mark Labbett, 53, Anne Hegerty, 60, Jenny Ryan, 37, and Shaun Wallace, 59, get paid more if they win in the final round. The final round sees the remaining contestants answer as many questions as possible within two minutes - with the Chaser taking their turn next - in a bid to win their earned money. A viewer queried on Twitter: “@paulsinha Paul my wife has asked if Chasers get paid more if they win the final chase?” In view of his 117,000 followers, Paul replied: “No they don’t.”

In view of his 117,000 followers, Paul replied: “No they don’t.”

The Twitter user responded: “Thanks so much for the reply.

Elsewhere, earlier this month, Paul hit back at a Twitter user who described him as “rude and obnoxious”.

Paul shared a tweet revealing he was in search of publishers as he is keen to write a quiz book.

One Twitter user took the opportunity to slam the star after an apparent meeting with the quizmaster.
