Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman returned this evening to welcome today’s contestants onto this afternoon’s instalment of Pointless.
However Richard ending up dismissing co-host Alexander after he commented on a contestant’s unusual choice of clothing.
Once Alexander had introduced today’s bunch of new and returning contestants in the usual fashion he revealed the first topic they would be faced with.
When it came to the fourth pairings turn, attention turned to one half of the boyfriend and girlfriend team’s choice of shirt.
“Can I commend you on that shirt by the way, talk me through it they’re pink dinosaurs on it,” remarked Alexander.
“Triceratops,” contestant Paul corrected before Alexander asked: “Do we know for sure if Triceratops came in pink?”
As the audience and the contestants burst out laughing, Paul said: “Not sure.”
Continuing, Alexander added: “I don’t know on what authority we can say what colour they are… We get pink dolphins.”
“Anyway there we are sorry I do digress,” Alexander apologised. “I think we get pink dolphins…”
