The MP for East Hampshire appeared via live video link as Dan Walker interviewed him from the BBC Breakfast studio.
But while the pair spoke about education issues in the UK, his hair captured viewers’ attention.
Damian’s hair was presented in a rather distressed manner and some of those watching at home couldn’t take their eyes off of it.
Subsequently, they expressed their surprise at his unusual look on Twitter.

Damian went on to discuss who he was supporting in the Tory leadership race between Jeremy Hunt and Boris Johnson.
