The Voice Kids will air its second round of battles this evening as the kids in each team go head to head to secure their spot in the semi-finals.
will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones were joined by Jessie J earlier this year as the newest addition to the coaching team.
Ahead of tonight’s instalment, Danny revealed in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk how he felt Jessie’s arrival affected the show.
“Obviously you’re nervous straight away as with anything,” he began. “But she’s brought a new energy to the show and she gets on really well with Pixie, will and me.
“How we are on camera, is how we are off camera, there’s a really good energy between us which makes it so much easier because you don’t have to try.”
Danny has been a coach on The Voice Kids since 2017 and believes the show gets “better and better” every year.
When asked if he thought this was the best series yet, he said: “Well of course it is because every year it gets better and better.
“It feels like the show is bigger with four of us and we really give the adult show a run for its money.
“I think it's better than the adult show.”
