Former Homes Under The Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander, 48, went head-to-head with her ex co-star Martin Roberts, 56, in a decorative cake making challenge on the Channel 4 show last week.
During the show, Kirstie Allsopp, 47, and Piyush Suri checked in on the pair’s efforts, but were swiftly snubbed by Lucy, who was frantically rushing to finish.
As she tried to correct the icing on her cake, Piyush told her: “I think you’re doing okay… you just need to be a little bit patient and very slowly you need to use your hands there I think.”
Kirstie then said: “You’ve still got 17 minutes left, I know it might feel like time is at a standstill but it is doing so in your favour.”
I told you I can’t talk and work.
Appearing frantic and distracted, Lucy replied, laughing: “I told you I can’t talk and work.”
Lucy’s reaction prompted Kirstie to apologise and walk off alongside Piyush.
“No, it’s me,” Lucy responded laughing.
After the judges walked off, the show’s voiceover artist Susan Calman joked: “That’s one way to get the judges on your side Lucy… telling them to get lost.”
After Kirstie left the room, Lucy jokingly tried to distract her former co-star Martin Roberts, 56, who was concentrating on his cake.
Lucy wiped icing on Martin’s face, but the latter urged Lucy to stop messing around.
