The two senior royals often wear different styles of outfits too, with Kate often wearing long fitted dresses and skirts and Meghan opting for more revealing outfits. Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams described both Kate and Meghan as “style icons” and explained their different in taste is due to their separate roles within the Royal Family.
He told Express.co.uk: “Kate does wear coloured clothes, but they are often mid length and tailored.
“She wears rather demure outfits, as she is dressing as the future Queen.”
The royal expert said both Kate and Meghan are fashion icons with “an extraordinary global reach”.
He said their choice of outfits often impacts the sales of different brands, sometimes causing a “frenzy”.
