A huge argument broke out in Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders as Martin Fowler (played by James Bye) defended Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) when Phil (Steve McFadden) started making threats about her kids.
Phil took on Martin as the two men began to fight but before long Stacey (Lacey Turner) emerged armed with the tool and hit Phil in order to protect her husband.
Following on from the violent scenes, tonight’s instalment of the BBC soap will see Ben (Max Bowden) walk in on the aftermath as his dad’s life hangs in the balance.
He sees the trio standing over Phil’s unconscious body in the garage, although spoilers haven’t revealed what’s next.
But considering the tensions that have arisen between the father and son in recent weeks, Ben may not act fast in getting his dad help.
In fact, he could end up endangering his dad’s life even further and even be responsible for his demise.
As viewers know, Phil’s recent decision to give Ben less responsibility in the business really riled his son up.
Ben made a chilling statement to Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) after he found a gun in the E20 safe about using it on his dad.
On top of that, he also discovered in Tuesday’s episode that Phil had replaced him with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) in his will.
Will Ben’s next moves after he walks in the on the scene have an impact on Phil’s ability to recover?
