Jasmine Harman, 43, addressed a “really difficult” issue she had to deal with on location for A Place In The Sun. The presenter reflected on the moment when she realised the one million pound plus property segment on the Channel 4 show had been thrown into jeopardy due to the house’s “filthy” appearance. She exclusively told Express.co.uk: “There are always challenges. Something happens, something falls through or something delays you, but we always try to be flexible with our schedule and properties.” Jasmine added: “We do a one million pound plus property at the end of each episode and I remember once turning up to a property and we had seen it for sale online.
That was a bit of a catastrophe and we were thinking how can we creatively make this look any good?
“It looked amazing and it was right on the beach.”
Unfortunately for Jasmine, the opulent photos of the house did not accurately represent the state of the property.
She explained: “We hadn’t been to see it in the flesh and when we arrived the pool had been left, the water was green/black, and the whole place was really dusty and filthy.
“It was right on the beach but right in front of it there was a building site where a new house was being built so about 50 per cent of your view was obscured.”
As a result, the TV personality admitted the production team struggled to make the house “look any good” for the programme.
She divulged: “So that was a bit of a catastrophe and we were thinking how can we creatively make this look any good?
