Flights see cabin crew and pilots all working together to get plane passengers to their destination. They spend many hours together while onboard and even more away from the aircraft if they’re travelling long-haul. Long-distance flights can see crew put up in hotels for several nights at a time. Many people often wonder what happens between flight attendants and pilots while they’re away together.
Flights: Cabin crew reveals what flight attendants get up to with each other while away
A cabin crew member has revealed what they get up to while away working on such trips.
The former flight attendant told Stuff.co.nz: “If you think about stories in your own workplace, when do scandals often happen? Work trips.
“Well, our job is all one big work trip, so as you would expect, it does happen.”
Passengers also try to romance cabin crew while they’re at work, the attendant added.
“I’ve had business cards slipped to me, notes scribbled on napkins,” the crew member said.
“It doesn't happen a lot - but coming into contact with so many people, eventually, you're going to get someone trying their luck.”
All this can prove very difficult for partners of cabin crew who don’t know what their other halves could be getting up to while away from home.
