Strictly Come Dancing 2019 contestant Catherine Tyldesley, 35, took to Instagram to tell fans she had put Deep Heat on her thighs, but it had spread to “special places”.
The former Coronation Street actress made the revelation as she shared a picture of her bruised legs after a rehearsal.
In view of her 517,000 followers, she captioned the picture: “The bruises tho!”(sic)
Warning others about her mishap, she added: “I put Deep Heat on my thighs today.
Let's just say I was feeling very fresh. Very uncomfortable
“Don’t do that. It migrates. Let's just say I was feeling very fresh. Very uncomfortable.”
Catherine then took to her Twitter page to share a similar message with her 423,000 followers.
She wrote: “Note to self... do not accidentally get Deep Heat in your ‘special places’. #fresh.”
The Deep Heat rub is advertised as plus heat therapy used for muscular pain.
Despite her blunder, Catherine returned to rehearsals the following day and updated her fans about her antics.
Taking to her Instagram story, she filmed herself in the back of a car telling fans she had been on a shoot for the show.
