Bradley Walsh welcomed four celebrities on to today’s special edition of the ITV quiz show alongside Chaser Shaun Wallace.
Singer Toyah Willcox, former footballer John Barnes, writer Germaine Greer and former boxer Audley Harrison were this evening’s stars.
The first contestant on The Chase was Toyah who earned her spot in the final by adding £6,000 to the jackpot prize fund.
John then earned an identical amount in his cash builder round, but was asked a question that caused Bradley to collapse into a fit of giggles.
Bradley asked John and Shaun: “In which sport might a ‘tight end’ get ‘stiff-armed’?”
After reading out the cheeky question, Bradley gasped in shock and held back laughter.
However, when he read out “Synchronised swimming” as one of the possible answers, the presenter couldn’t hold the laughter back any longer and collapsed on to the question board.
While the studio audience could be heard laughing, Bradley looked over to the team and noticed Germaine’s horrified expression.
“Look at Germaine’s face!” he commented.
Bradley finally composed himself and John eventually finished his head-to-head after beating the Chaser.
In the final chase, Shaun found himself in the tough task of competing against all four celebrities.
