WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE host Jeremy Clarkson shut down one of this evening’s budding millionaires as they turned to the host for advice on a question regarding the designer of Meghan Markle’s dress.

Jeremy Clarkson, 59, welcomed contestant Sean to Who Wants to Be a Millionaire after the first player Davyth Fear from Carmarthen walked away with £500,000.

Sean looked like he could be following in Davyth’s footsteps as he got the game off to a blazing start on the ITV quiz show.

As the round progressed, Sean was playing cautiously as he relied on his own knowledge and failed to use any of his lifelines.

When it came to the moment he needed the lifelines, Sean turned to Jeremy for advice on a question regarding extraordinaire Clare Waight Keller who designed Meghan Markle’s dress, which left the host completely stumped.

The question posed to the contestant was “In 2017, Clare Waight Keller became the first female artistic director of which house?” with the answers either being Givenchy, Prada, Versace or Armani.

Having no idea what the answer could be, Sean chose to ask the host as he said a man like Jeremy who wore a lot of brands presumably who know the answer.

The host replied: “I think you’ve taken leave of your senses. I’ve only ever worn clothes by Levis.”

Jeremy then quipped as he shut down the contestant for choosing him: “That was easily the biggest waste of a lifeline in human history.”
