Phil has substantial experience working in property, and he studied as a surveyor before becoming a home finder.

Paint the outside of your home

Phil claimed you can boost the value of your house by £5000 by making on minor change. 

The presenter claimed that painting the front of your house can add thousands to the value.

He said: Repainting the front of your home can cost as little as £1,000 but could add up to £5,000 to its value.

"Brightening up the window frames will ensure your home looks well-maintained and help reassure buyers about the overall condition of the property.

“Don’t forget the fence and front gate. The importance of ‘kerb appeal’, or the impression you get when first approaching the property from the street, can’t be overstated.”
