Thursday morning will see some rain move in across the northwest but it will be cloudier elsewhere. Brighter skies will remain across the south as well as the east.
Rain will push in across the western side of Scotland with some showers for the northern isles.
There will be brighter skies for Aberdeenshire as well as the border regions.
More rain can be expected across Northern Ireland as well but it will eventually clear throughout the day.

However, there will be more cloud for the west country and further towards Wales.
Met Office Meteorologist Clare Nasir: “Through the morning, we watch as this area of cloud and rain gradually sinks its way southwards.
“So, increasing clouds for Northern England as well as Wales and a little rain can’t be ruled out.
“The wind picks up a little bit of strength as well but there’s a back edge to this cloud.

“We’ll see some brighter skies across the far northwest of Scotland later.”
Brighter and warmer weather can be expected from Lincolnshire and the Midlands down towards central and
