As per Harper’s Bazaar, the money will help the charity build a swimming pool in Guinjata Bay, Mozambique to help local children to swim. Love the Oceans were aiming to raise £5000 to teach 200 children, eight swim teaching assistants and 1 new swimming teacher in a resort town which has seen up to 12 drownings a year on average. Adam Knight who collaborates with the charity explained: "I said to my colleague, 'That has to be Harry and Meghan.’
"We made some calls and were able to verify that it was from them, which is just incredible.
“Without that donation and support this would not be happening.”
It is believed the donation came about after Meghan stumbled upon them on Instagram .
Mr Knight began working with Love The Oceans last summer and taught some children how to swim.

He said: "It was a little nerve-wracking going out [in the water] with just one other person, but I thought, ‘We’ve got a whole community of children that don’t know how to swim’.
“There’s a scuba diving resort with a swimming pool—let’s do something with this, let’s change things.”
The Sussexes will visit Africa later this month.
