Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has often made his feelings known about gun violence in America and today was no difference. Safety expert Joe Deedon is currently training schools across America in what to do in a mass shooting, with children as young as four being educated about how to keep themselves safe in the event of a massacre.
However, Piers was quick to call out the expert, fearing it was dangerous and worrying to let kids know about such harrowing topics so early in their lives.
Joe immediately addressed the furore surrounding having guns in America at all, saying: “They’re part of our heritage and we’ve had these discussions - they’re not going anywhere overnight.
“There are some changes that need to be made. The easy solution is to point the fingers at the guns.”
He added: “Our mental health system is broken and red flags aren’t being investigated.”

Piers hit back: “With respect, here’s my problem. You’ve outlined a whole series of problems but what you’ve said is the gun is not the problem but without the gun, you can’t do the shooting.
“Here’s what I find unconscionable - nothing has been done since Sandy Hook.”
Sandy Hook was an elementary school shooting in 2012 where 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot and killed 26 people, including 20 children between six and seven-years-old.
