Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan, 54, told fans he took part in his first ever hike, claiming the challenge almost “killed me”.
In view of his 6.85 million Twitter followers, he shared a picture of himself standing on Los Angeles’ famous spot the Runyon Canyon.
The presenter sported trainers, shorts and a blue T-shirt as he posed for the camera with his hands on his hips.
Piers shared the tweet with the caption: “My first ever hike.
Nearly killed me but manned up & got to the summit.
“Nearly bloody killed me but manned up & got to the summit. #runyoncanyon #LA.”
Many of the star’s fans flocked to his page to comment on his post.
One user wrote: “Well done mate,” while a second added: “I loved the view it’s awesome, nothing like it.”
A third commented: “The first steps are always the hardest. It’s all downhill from there!”
Piers is currently enjoying time away with his eldest son Spencer, 26, who he shares with his ex-wife Marion Shalloe.
