From dazzling up crutches to starring in a pantomime, both Paddy Smyth and Tim Wilson are celebrating and contemplating what to do next after their wins on the Channel 4 show. The pair were crowned winners of The Circle on Friday night (October 18) and have already revealed what they each have in the pipeline following their victory. Express.co.uk exclusively spoke to Paddy and Tim to find out.

Tim said: “I didn’t expect it at all, most people don’t get me and I’m just amazed.


“I hope now I can live up to their expectations.

“I would like to do something in television, I feel so warm and supported and if my stage fright is completely gone, I would like to do something in the theatre, maybe a pantomime.”


Paddy, 31, was voted by his fellow Circle contestants as the overall champion and won £70,000.


Tim, 58, was then voted by the public as the people’s champion and was awarded £30,000.

Paddy said: “I’m absolutely shocked, overwhelmed. I didn’t see it coming.


“What I love about it is that it shows the underdog can win.


“Usually on reality shows, it’s one of the originals that win but this time it wasn’t.”


The premise of the show is players are living in the same apartment block but in different flats within the building and can be whoever they want to be.
