Unpredictable Gray Atkins (played by Toby Alexander Smith) could be about to lose his temper in the most devastating way in upcoming episodes. EastEnders viewers have watched Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) be abused by her husband despite his promises he’ll seek help for his anger problems. However now Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia) had arrived on the Square it could be only a matter of time before Gray’s driven to kill.

In upcoming episodes on the BBC soap, Chantelle and Jags could find themselves in serious danger if Gray realises the pair share a history.

Recently, Gray promised to change his ways after Chantelle discovered she was pregnant.

Unbeknownst to Gray, his wife lost the baby but Chantelle has kept this news hidden from him out of fears he’ll become violent towards her again.

Earlier in the week, Jags arrived in Walford with his brothers and the newcomer quickly established a bond with Chantelle with one knowing look.

Jags said: “You know that girl I used to date back in school - Chantelle?”

Kheerat replied: “Tall, fit. I remember you crushing hard for her.”

“We had a date,” the Panesar brother confirmed.
