While their relationship was blossoming, the former Suits actress stepped in to encourage Prince Harry to tell the world he had sought help from a professional to deal with his personal issues. In 2017 the Duchess of Sussex appeared on Byrony Gordon’s Mad World podcast, admitting for the first time that Her husband Harry had not always felt fine but nevertheless, like many others, he had told people he was fine when they asked how he was doing.
Writing in The Daily Telegraph, Byrony recalled how she first met Meghan shortly before she tied the knot with the Queen’s grandson and the two ladies bonded over their shared passions for running, yoga and mental health.
The podcast host said: “We kept in touch. It was Meghan who had encouraged her then boyfriend to do the podcast about his mental health with me, and I felt we were on the same wave-length.”
Harry, 35, won praise from mental health charities and members of the public for his candid talk with the journalist two years ago.

He told listeners he had struggled to deal with his emotions in the aftermath of his mother’s death at the age of 12.
The duke said this led him to suppress his feelings, a move which did not lead him down a healthy path.
He said “shutting down” his emotions meant he refused to process his childhood grief and eventually two years of “total chaos” ensued during his Twenties.
