Karim, 25, has been dazzling Strictly Come Dancing fans and judges with his energetic routines alongside professional star Amy Dowden, 28. The pair seem to have huge support behind them as they progress on the BBC dance show despite not always being at the higher end of the leaderboard. Could their scoring however determine their ticket to the final?

To this point, the CBBC presenter has so far topped the leaderboard three times, and although this made stand him in good stead, it’s his first three performances which could put him in the pole position.

Over the course of this year’s competition, it has been Karim, Kelvin Fletcher, 35, and Michelle Visage, 51, who have seemed like the ones to beat.

In the first two live shows, the trio were storming ahead as the top three celebrities with the highest scores from the judges.

Unfortunately, movie week saw the children’s television star take a knock as he slumped to eighth position.
