Anton Du Beke was thrilled to be partnered with Emma Barton on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing and the pair have continued to impress judges and viewers. The Strictly stalwart is the only professional dancer to have taken part in every series and Anton has revealed to Express.co.uk whether he plans to hang up his dancing shoes any time soon.

Discussing his time on the BBC show, Anton began: “I was talking to somebody about [Strictly] the other day and it was pointed out to me that If you were to take all this Strictly Come Dancings or variation of in the world. 

“Bruno Tonioli would probably be the judge who has done the most shows.

“But of professionals, I would be the longest serving professional dancer in the world, not only in the UK. 

“And I didn't think about it like that, and I thought that was a lovely thing. And I'm sort of quite enjoy that basking in that knowledge.”

Anton was asked how long he hopes to stay on Strictly to which he confessed: “I want to continue forever.” 

The professional dancer revealed how much he loves taking to the dance floor each week.

He continued: “I have no desire to end my participation in Strictly Come Dancing at all, because I'm literally loving every step of it.
