The veteran Brexiteer will be one of seven party leaders or senior figures on a second panel when Boris Johnson and Jeremy Corbyn go head-to-head. Southampton is due to host the high profile debate on December 6, just six days before the general election.
However a huge row has broken out ahead of the event, with the Liberal Democrats arguing their leader has been unfairly excluded.
Mr Farage is also due to participate in a special election edition of Question Time ahead of the poll.
Last week the Brexit Party leader announced plans to field candidates in every seat in England, Wales and Scotland unless the local Conservative candidate vows to support a no deal Brexit.
Mr Farage has furiously attacked Mr Johnson’s Brexit withdrawal deal, arguing it is “not Brexit”.

However several of his own candidates have dropped out of the election and endorsed the Tories, saying they fear a split Brexiteer vote would led Labour take power.
The Brexit Party leader asserted: “It’s not Brexit - he is trying to sell a secondhand motor.
“He has polished up the bonnet but actually underneath nothing has changed.
“This is Mrs May’s appalling surrender treaty.
