Martin Roberts, 56, took to Instagram to answer some questions from Homes Under The Hammer viewers and made a big revelation about how the programme’s producers select the properties it focuses on. The presenter explained the situation in a video in view of his 11,500 followers after a fan quizzed: “Do the HUTH presenters get to choose which properties you film at?”
Martin insisted the hosts “don’t have a choice” in the matter, but admitted the homes are organised “geographically” to suit where they are based in the country.
Answering the fan’s question, he replied: “No, the presenters don’t have any choice about which properties they film.
“Although it is kind of done geographically because Martel’s in Scotland, Dion’s in the Midlands and I’m sort of South-West so South.”
He added: “So we sort of try to be logical about it but it doesn’t always work out.”
