Norwegian princess 'met lover in previous life in Ancient Egypt'

Princess Märtha-Louise of Norway, fourth-in-line to the throne, and her Shaman boyfriend Durek Verret, claimed they realised they had met in a previous life during their first meeting. The Norwegian royal confirmed her relationship to the Sham on Instagram in May, two years after the Princess divorced her husband of 15 years Ari Behn. While promoting the Shaman's latest self-help book, the couple claimed they had lived together in a past life in Ancient Egypt.

Durek said: "When we’re together and I look at Märtha, sometimes I see another face.

"When we first met, she walked in and she said, 'I remember you, I know who you are'. I was like, ‘Yes, we knew each other from a very long time ago.’

"It just came out of my mouth. I have memories of us in Egypt, and she was my queen and I was a pharaoh."

Royal commentator Lydia Starbuck suggested the latest statements from the couple have King Harald V of Norway avoid any reference to his daughter in his annual New Year's Eve speech later this year.

Ms Starbuck said: "They probably won’t hear references to his daughter and her new partner because they have been in the news again in the last few days with perhaps one of their most interesting declarations in recent times.

"It’s up there with the most unusual royal stories of 2019. This relationship has not been an easy one for the Norwegian Royal Family.
