Motherless Brooklyn is a new film with a whole host of bright stars in the cast. Actor and director Edward Norton has secured some big names for the cast, including Bruce Willis, Alec Baldwin and Willem Dafoe. When is Motherless Brooklyn out in cinemas?

Motherless Brooklyn is out in cinemas in the UK on December 6.

The movie has already done the rounds in terms of festivals and has been released in various countries across the world.

American viewers have been able to watch Motherless Brooklyn since November 1.

But sadly it does not seem to have picked up much traction at the box office, having made a measly $10.7million (£8.3million) worldwide.

Who is in the cast of Motherless Brooklyn?

Edward Norton, as well as being the director, plays the lead role of Lionel Essrog, a detective with Tourettes syndrome.

As well as the star, the cast is littered with famous names.

Bruce Willis plays Frank Minna, Lionel’s boss and close friend, while Gugu Mbatha-Raw is Laura Rose.
