Emmerdale resident Al Chapman (played by Michael Wildman) has been growing closer to villain Kim Tate (Claire King) in recent episodes and he appears to have taken over from Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) as her right hand man. However, it looks like his dodgy dealings have left him in danger - who has got their revenge?

Yesterday saw Al convince business partner Kim to employ Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley). 

Her new boyfriend Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) was on hand to warn of his step-dad’s ways, telling her: “Watch him.”

This evening, Dawn was delighted as she turned up to her first day at work, but things didn’t run as smoothly as anticipated. 

Starting her first day in the office, Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) was left annoyed after Kim and Al had employed her without informing him.

She was then seen overhearing a suspicious conversation between Al and his son Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony).

Speaking to Ellis, his dad said: “Glad you’re enjoying yourself, there’s something I need to talk to you about, it’s nothing bad.

“I reckon there’s a great opportunity for you here, you should be more involved, it would be great if you invested in this place,” he continued. 

Dawn later went to tell her boyfriend what she had heard, leaving him raging at Al.
