Susan Boyle, 58, rose to fame following her audition on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. The I Dreamed A Dream singer has now revealed she purchased a new home but had decided against moving in.
I’ve spent most of my life in this house and I won’t move now, because I feel it’s part of my history
The ITV favourite admitted she still resides in her mother's ex-council home in Blackburn, West Lothian because “it’s part of my history”.
The Scottish-native has lived in the property all of her life, except for a brief stay in a local new build shortly after becoming famous.
Speaking to The Sunday Post, Susan admitted she has no intention of moving out and the “posh house” she purchased is being utilised by a family member.
She told the publication: “My mum’s still looking after me now, she’s still here and she has given me the confidence to do what I do.
