Chris Evans, 53, was in awe at a DIY mouse trap that he and his wife, Natasha, 39, constructed over the weekend after finding a mouse living behind their fridge. The Virgin Radio host told listeners about how the resourceful trap works, even showing his team the full video on YouTube.
73 million people have watched this because it’s so good
He began by explaining Natasha had thought she had seen a rat in the house after finding droppings all over their Ascot mansion.
“We found a little friend over the weekend. My wife said, ‘it’s a rat, look at its droppings', but I think maybe it’s a mouse,” he said.
“So, we went online to construct our own mouse/rat trap and if you go to ‘five easy mouse traps’ the first one is a work of genius!"
The DJ had his team in hysterics when he described the materials one would need to build the trap.
“You need a pair of chopsticks, a plastic bottle, a safety pin and an elastic band,” Chris explained, as co-stars Rachel Horne and Vassos Alexander howled with laughter.

Listeners heard the team watch Imaginative Man's YouTube video of how to make the trap: “It’s so popular,” the radio DJ admired.
“It’s been watched 73 thousand times, I thought it would have be 73 million!”
There was a short pause because Chris cackled: “Oh wait, it is 73 million! 73 million people have watched this because it’s so good – look at that!”
Describing what was happening in the video, the mouse seemingly approached the trap to get a peanut that was used as bait.
But Rachel seemed to be a little concerned for the little animal’s safety.
“Aww,” she said, as sounded concerned
