DONALD took aim the European Union during a press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron earlier today as the US President America is losing $150 billion (£115 billion) to Brussels every year.

The US President hit out at the EU in a conference ahead of the NATO summit as he explained the US is in a “situation” which he believes is frankly “not right”. Donald accused the EU of “taking advantage of the US” and warned he could take a harsh approach with them. He added he doesn’t want to take action against Brussels because the trade bloc is a friend of the US.

The US President told the conference he believes the EU was partially formed to "take advantage of the United States".

He added they have done a "brilliant" job of doing so but said it's "not right".

Mr went on to say he has exposed the EU.

Speaking at the conference, he said: "The US can’t continue to keep losing that kind of money that they’ve lost, literally since the formation of the Union.
