Carol Vorderman, 58, has shared a rare admission about her family as she spoke of her son Cameron King’s “learning difficulties growing up”. The former Countdown presenter opened up about her youngest child from her second marriage to management consultant Patrick King in a candid interview with MailOnline.


The star gushed about how proud she is of her son and daughter Katie King, who is working on a cure for cancer at Cambridge University.
While discussing Cameron, she revealed he was dyslexic and had Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).
However, in spite of his struggles, he went on to pursue his interests in animation in Bristol.
She told the publication: “Cam had learning difficulties growing up and went to a special school. He was dyslexic and had ADD.

“But he was - and is - so philosophical. And so intelligent. He has such a deep command for the English language. He is doing animation in Bristol.
“Basically my children - I have one who is a total academic and one that couldn't be. But they are so fantastic in two different ways.”
