Kevin Clifton, 37, lifted the Glitterball trophy with his now girlfriend Stacey Dooley in 2018. But the Strictly Come Dancing professional has made a bizarre admission as he spilled he is unable to choreograph in the daytime.


Speaking on his self-titled podcast, the ballroom professional said he lacked “creativity” when practising in a dance studio.
He explained: “For me personally, and I’m sure not everyone is like this. But for me I find it difficult to choreograph in the daytime.
“First of all I can’t do it in a dance studio. There have been times when I booked out a dance studio and I’ve tried to choreograph in there and suddenly I feel like I have no creativity.”
He added: “Whereas if I just walk around and do it in my front room suddenly things come a lot easier. There’s a science behind it.”

Meanwhile, the Grimsby-born performer stunned viewers on Saturday night as he had a different role during the opening performance of Strictly Come Dancing.
The dancer showed off his vocal skills alongside Anton Du Beke as they sang a track from hit musical Hello, Dolly!.
Kevin and his fellow professional dancer were both centre-stage during the number as they sang and danced during the complex routine.
